Run Time System for q4Logix

The run time system q4PLC includes the following functionality:

  • interpreter for non time-critical software components
  • Online Change for whole applications
  • scalable architecture support 8-, 16-bit CPUs and multicore processors
  • provides support for communication drivers and I/O drivers
  • access to industry-standard I/O modules (e.g. EtherCAT)
  • easily portable to customer hardware

Supported CPU Families

q4PLC has already been ported successfully to the following CPU families:

  • Intel x86 and x64 (little endian)
  • ARM Cortex M3 and M4 (little endian)
  • generic ARM, e.g., Cortex A9 (little endian)
  • PowerPC (big endian)
